As part of efforts to extend the lifespan of the Erdemir Mining Divriği Pelletizing Plant, the Ore Production and Enrichment Facility was established in Malatya Hasançelebi, enabling the processed pellets to be transported to Divriği.

During the pandemic, Erdemir Maden continued its operations under the guidance of national and international standards and obtained the TSE Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate.

Erdemir Maden achieved a milestone in its sector by obtaining the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate.

On February 27, 2006, as part of the privatization process, Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. was acquired by the OYAK Group.

Divriği Hekimhan Madenleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was transferred to Ereğli Demir Çelik as part of the privatization process.
